Sharna the Executive Educator

Sharna is an award winning educator who teaches into MBA and Masters programs.

Sharna is also a co-leader of the Enterprise Effectiveness Network (EEN), which positions her at the forefront of brokering dialogue between academia and industry. Through this role, she facilitates collaborations, fosters knowledge exchange and helps organisations find systemic solutions to their talent and strategy execution challenges.

Sharna’s scholarly career spans global boundaries with previous and current positions at Sydney Business School, University of Wollongong (Australia), The University of Sydney (Australia), The Centre for Effective Organizations at USC’s Marshall School of Business (USA) and Leeds Business School (UK).

Sharna’s scholarship focuses on illustrating the complexity of talent management and exploring the boundaries between talent, organisational effectiveness and the influence of digitalisation.

Sharna also wears a consulting hat and serves as a Senior Management Consultant with ThinkEvans. Sharna has worked with clients as diverse as Australian Business Foundation (nonprofit think tank), Contiki Holidays (major player in packaged holidays), Catholic Healthcare (large scale private hospital operator), Railcorp (NSW Government department), Zonta International District 24 (volunteer community service organisation, part of a world wide network), CiEvents (medium sized business in the meetings, incentives, conferences sector, operating as part of a larger travel industry conglomerate), and Wellbeing for Dogs (start up small business).
